What you'll do
  • As a PreSales Consultant, you support the sales team in winning new business by providing deep technical insight and strategic guidance throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • You guide customers and partners by translating industry standards into clear, actionable solutions, aligned with Retarus' way of delivering secure, scalable communication services.
  • You take ownership of designing solution architectures and integration concepts.
  • Preparation of cost estimates and support of the sales team in the preparation of technically sound and competitive offers.
  • Leverage your solid knowledge of modern IT infrastructures to seamlessly connect applications, ensuring secure, scalable, and future-proof solutions
  • Lead and manage pre-sales projects from initial discovery to contract signing and ensure consistent progress and alignment.
  • Plan and participate in both virtual and onsite presales meetings and workshops, tailoring your message to different audiences and ensuring that you clearly articulate the customer value proposition.
  • Your engaging and persuasive approach earns trust, captures attention, and convinces stakeholders that we are the right partner for their business.
  • You understand complex business processes and translate them into smart technical solutions that deliver real value and support your customers' strategic goals.
  • In close cooperation with the Retarus sales teams, product management, technical departments and your customer contacts, you will ensure that our portfolio is optimally positioned in every project.
  • You bring your technical expertise and communication skills to our bid management process and guarantee that the bids are precise, convincing and tailored to the customer's needs.
What you'll need
  • Successfully completed training or a degree, ideally in IT, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in a comparable position in an IT environment and/or in working with customers or partners.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical tools such as Jira, Confluence, Postman and modern AI tools.
  • Sound Experience in the SaaS sector, ideally also in the telecommunications environment.
  • Enthusiasm for complex business processes and the ability to translate these into intelligent solutions.
  • High affinity for new technologies, combined with a passion for innovation and a willingness to challenge existing ways of thinking.
  • Ability to grasp things quickly and a strong focus on solutions - even in dynamic, changing environments.
  • The ability to convey technical content in a way that is understandable and exciting for the target group - whether in a meeting, workshop or proposal.Team player with a natural ability to cooperate, openness to different perspectives and the desire to achieve success together.
