Description:
The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing superior service to the employees of Augusta National Golf Club, as well as process excellence in Compensation. Reporting to the Senior Director, Total Rewards, the Senior Compensation Analyst will be accountable for developing, implementing, and managing the Compensation program with the primary goal of remaining competitive and aligning with our employee strategy, while maintaining the confidentiality of all Club business. The ideal individual will have high attention to detail, knowledge of compensation system design, support, and analysis, as well as an ability to think critically and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Please note that this position requires the individual to work on-site in Augusta, Georgia, five days a week.

Essential Functions of the Job
- Plans, develops, implements, and monitors compensation offerings that align with the employee strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition (TA) and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to support benchmarking and offer processes, ensuring competitive and equitable compensation strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitors effectiveness of existing compensation practices (base pay, incentive pay, executive pay, promotional increases and market adjustments) and recommends changes based on the organization's business objectives, Mission Statement, and overall compensation trends.
- Researches, analyzes, and manages Compensation suppliers, vendors and systems that support the mission and goals of the Club.
- Manages common compensation functions, job evaluation, salary structure development, incentive plan design and associated analysis.
- Designs creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
- Leads and supports the annual merit increase process in partnership with HR Business Partners.
- Manages compensation module in HRIS System Workday to include configurations for merit process, bonus payments, etc. Partners with HRIS to find solutions to system issues impacting Total Rewards.
- Maintains knowledge of economic conditions, labor market, and other factors related to ensuring the organization provides competitive compensation scales and structures, including base pay and short and long-term incentives.
- Ensures compensation programs are in compliance with government regulations (federal, state, and local), and develops policies and procedures as needed to ensure compliance.
- Accountable for the results of the Compensation programs.
- Manages multiple processes, programs, and projects, while seeking efficiencies in process improvements.
- Responsible for budgeting of projects and programs within Compensation.
Physical Demands
- Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties such as but not limited to: preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
- Occasionally required to walk and work with hands and arms, lift up to 25 pounds and/or drive a golf cart.
- Constantly required to sit, sometimes for several hours at a time, and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Qualifications:
Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:
- Knowledge of and experience in compensation system design, support, and analysis.
- Ability to think critically, prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and accomplish detailed work with accuracy.
- Ability to apply new concepts and initiate and lead change.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills to include Windows based applications including Word, Excel and Access as well as Outlook.
Relative Experience/Education:
- Five+ years of professional work experience required
- Experience in compensation, general human resource practices, and human resource law preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required
- Workday experience preferred
- Compensation certification preferred
Required License(s):
- Possess a valid driver's license and/or successfully completes the Club's internal motor vehicle training program
