Job Summary

Position is responsible for supporting deliverables for assigned business unit including project management, scheduling, staffing, and quality and performance improvement initiatives.Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree required

Licenses/Certifications: (None)

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
  • One (1) year of Project Management experience
  • Five (5) years in related healthcare experience
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge in business operations, financial management, human resource management, information management, organizational governance, patient care systems, risk management and quality management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects to completion with successful outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives with key stakeholders including Physicians, Leaders and Executives
  • Basic knowledge of CLIA, HIPAA, NCQA, and OSHA medical office regulations (MHMG only)
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to patient, provider, and employee satisfaction


Principal Accountabilities
  • Support Onboarding Projects - Go-live support in addition to 30/60/90 day post go-live check-ups.
  • Initiates change management processes and practices stakeholder management with Physicians, Directors, and Vice Presidents across multiple locations.
  • Promote the treatment of patients through efficient staff planning, patient scheduling, clinical care and flow, collections processes, patient complaint resolution and outstanding customer service.
  • Assist with planning, development, and direction of capital expenditures, business objectives, departmental goals, and special projects.
  • Identify operations barriers; develop and implement processes to address them.
  • Lead in the preparation of departmental compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assign work and manages the activities of personnel. Hire, train, monitor and evaluate staff as necessary.
  • Manage scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage at assigned locations, including supplemental coverage as needed.
  • Understand the fundamental importance of customer service and develops processes and culture that support excellent customer service, the adherence to regulatory standards and the achievement of business objectives.
  • Coordinates with medical staff in assigned areas to achieve growth initiatives, quality outcomes, operational improvements and patient satisfaction goals.
  • Support the instruction of educational programs that promote staff competency.
  • Monitor quality improvement efforts and makes recommendations for change as necessary.
  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
