We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Operations Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and management of all materials-related activities across our supply chain.

As a key member of the operations team, you will lead inventory control, vendor management, materials planning, and logistics coordination to optimize performance and reduce costs.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on operational expertise and thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries, minimizing carrying costs and transportation charges.
  • Oversees and ensures proper purchasing, production control planning and scheduling to meet sales forecasts.
  • Initiates, monitors, and documents cost reduction programs related to inventories and the efficiencies of its movement including imports and exports.
  • Ensures and manages the development, implementation, and administration of all procedures related to logistics, planning, purchasing, warehousing and import/export compliance.
  • Oversees Master Schedule and MRP integrity and execution.
  • Oversees all aspects of Labeling systems for production.
  • Monitors WIP levels and its movement within the production area as well as the measurement of accuracy of physical inventories.
  • Drive forklift as needed to support warehouse operations
  • Monitors and maintains control over excess and obsolete materials.
  • Oversees all functions and activities of Logistics, Export/Import Compliance, Purchasing and Warehouse groups.
  • Coordinate the training and development of all Materials Department personnel
  • Initiates & Manages strategic projects to maximize efficiency, reduce costs and develop long lasting supplier, customer and co-manufacturer partnerships.
  • Support management of the supplier base through use of supplier selection, CAR, audit and feedback systems in order to drive continuous improvement and cost


What you Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master's degree a plus) or related field, APICS Certification Preferred
  • ERP knowledge (SAP preferable),
  • Proficient in Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint),
  • Minimum of 10 years experience with 5 years in a management role in a materials/manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of materials planning, procurement processes, and inventory control methodologies
  • Forklift certified preferred

Typical Work Hours/Schedule/Location/Travel time
  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Onsite Location at Hillsboro, Oregon

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

(Salary Range - $110,000/yr to $140,000/yr)
