Your role and responsibilities
The Product Manager Mobile ePower and Rail, Technical Sales provides technical customer support during sales cycle and commissioning phases of electric drive trains for heavy duty mining and rail vehicles. Also integral in providing market feedback and optimizing the Traction product portfolio and roadmap. The work model for the role is: onsite. #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Traction division in Mechanicsville, VA. You will be mainly accountable for: - Providing technical and commercial assistance to a cross-functional, internal team, as well as customers, including order intake, trainings for customer and local sales/engineering, and consolidation of the customer needs, identifying product upgrades in close cooperation with global product management/ R&D. - Building complex electrical integration design within the scope of motors and drives, energy storage, protections and upper-level control systems. - Manage and prioritize the feature and customer case backlogs in collaboration with product management - Customer application support during commissioning and vehicle type test phase (remote and onsite) - Collect customer feedback for the North American market (rail, off road and mining vehicles) in close cooperation with global product management - Provide analysis of the market, competitors, customers, and their interactions.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineer/electronics or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years' experience in Electrical Engineering (power electronics or electric motors) and related Technical Sales experience with a track record of successful performance.
- Deep technical understanding of electric drive trains (power electronics, motors).
- Variable Frequency / Variable Speed Drives application engineering experience.
- eMobility/Transportation market knowledge and technical understanding of Traction control systems.
- Innovative Technical approaches and proven in seeking and demand creation in competitive markets.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written in English, active listening and ability to interpret real customer needs.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency in German and French.
