FAME is looking for a strategic and innovative Chief Risk Officer to join the executive leadership team. The CRO oversees Finance, Legal, and Risk Management departments, handling control testing, internal audit, and regulatory examinations. Responsibilities include executing business unit tests, reporting financial performance, credit risk, and legal matters to the board. The CRO will assess and manage risk and regulatory compliance across FAME's enterprise operations. In collaboration with the rest of the senior leadership team, leads an Enterprise Risk Management approach across financial, credit, market, and operational risks. The role utilizes advanced risk management knowledge to support FAME's mission and strategic plan.

Requirements
- Minimum four-year college degree. Prefer Master of Business Administration, CPA, or JD, or other advance degree/license in finance, investments, accounting, legal or risk management (or an appropriate combination of education and work experience).
- Minimum of ten (10) years related work experience in areas of accounting, financial modeling, lending, investment, risk management and legal experience.
- Demonstrated history of effectively managing and overseeing multi-function teams.
- Proven track record of staff, team and organizational development.
- Proven understanding/appreciation of accounting principles, financial markets, legal, compliance and risk matters, developing financial plans, and developing policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership, as well as project management and strategic thinking skills are required.
- Effective skills in interpersonal relations, oral and written communication.
- Must possess a positive, achievement-oriented attitude to build strong relationships with all clients, vendors and staff.
- Strong computer, time management and problem-solving skills are required. Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

$140,000 - $180,000 annually
