Business Data Analytics is a critical function at eero. You will be responsible for analyzing large sets of business data and building automated dashboards and reporting. You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Finance, BI, Manufacturing, and several other Operations teams to develop robust end-to-end analytical workflows and data-informed analyses, ultimately supporting successful business growth, operational efficiency, and sales acceleration. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting scalable, best-in-class business intelligence solutions and processes in collaboration with our existing technical team members.

Key job responsibilities

- Analyze large business and sales data sets to identify patterns, understand drivers, and generate insights to accelerate sales and drive operational efficiencies

- Write queries to extract data and insights combining datasets within eero with Amazon datasets and or/publicly available datasets

- Build and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and produce value-added data analyses to enable executive decision making or a change in the status quo

- Enable data access, literacy and self-sufficiency: You will automate manual data collection and manipulation traditionally done in Excel, and create robust data marts where stakeholders can easily generate business insights.

- Work closely with our Finance and BI teams on consolidating key data sources in one place, building the foundation to enable efficient data analysis across several business teams.

- Leverage Amazon systems and tools to effectively work with, process, and analyze large datasets

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift

- 3+ years of SQL experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs

- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
