Description APPLE INC has the following available in San Francisco, California. Analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or service on a per project basis. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Handle the product lifecycle from planning through execution, including developing the roadmap and planning execution for assigned engineering projects, from inception to delivery. Prioritizing, organizing, executing, and leading projects to ship consumer electronics products at scale. This entails making product and technical tradeoffs as well as fostering cross-functional alignment with partners and leadership. Identifying new opportunities by analyzing user metrics to drive key product metrics and influence decision making through an understanding of data analytics and statistics. Developing estimates for project scope, coordinating project resource allocation, setting project priorities, and establishing project timelines. This requires an understanding of technical complexities and ability to communicate the plan by creating resources such as Gantt charts or other similar visualizations. Monitor performance by establishing key metrics and analyzing subsequent dashboards. Use this data to back up assumptions, make recommendations, and drive engineering and project management decision-making. Partnering with Apple design teams to champion features that create a beautiful and intuitive end-user experience for our customers. This includes providing detailed feedback during design reviews and/or proposing new iterations of existing designs by creating a design brief. Building strong relationships across Apple and facilitating communication between crossfunctional groups to coordinate and collaborate on adjacent projects as well as identify new opportunities. Communicating project status, risks, and mitigation plans to higher-level management through succinct presentations in order to build alignment or escalate for key guidance as appropriate. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 - $248,700/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Systems Design Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Using AI Systems to create end user product improvements at scale.
  • Querying and analyzing product data to prioritize features and issues based on understanding of statistics. Includes reading and writing simple SQL (or similar) scripts.
  • Triaging technical issues within the product to create a timeline for delivery and explore trade offs. Requires understanding of the underlying technologies in order to asses this
  • complexity.
  • Presenting complex technical engineering concepts to all levels of an organization through technical documentation, live keynote presentations, and other in person forums.
  • Assessing scope and feasibility of an engineering project by understanding implementation details through technical documentation or presentations. Incorporate engineering estimates,
  • dependencies, coordination requirements, and other risks to create a full picture of feasibility.
  • Review and/or create high level designs for new features to build a full view of the product to be delivered. Includes creating simple mocks and design principles via a design brief
  • document.
  • Create User Research plans to form a deeper understanding of the product space through user studies, surveys, and in person interviews. Use this information in conjunction with data
  • analytics and technical understanding to create an overall product roadmap strategy.
  • Utilize project management tools to assess and communicate project execution. This includes using tools such as ticketing systems, Gantt charts, and other burn down visualizations.
