Department Overview

The Human Resources Department is responsible for benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, training & development, recruiting, succession planning and employee onboarding and offboarding. The Human Resources Department partners with all employees within the organization to meet both departmental and individual employee goals. It is the mission of the HR Department to partner with senior leaders and managers to identify and grow top talent and to provide a stable employee population that can grow with a dynamic Firm.

Position Responsibilities

The Human Resources Department is seeking an experienced recruiter to support the Firm's hiring efforts. Responsibilities include:
  • Leading recruiting for certain Shared Services Departments including, but not limited to, Fund Accounting, Investor Communications, Legal & Compliance, Marketing and Operations
  • Managing searches from start to finish, working with internal hiring managers and external search firms, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, recommending offer terms and successfully closing candidates
  • Working with hiring managers to identify recruiting needs and ideal candidate profiles
  • Being a recruiting advisor, providing regular updates to hiring managers on pipeline development and progress of candidates. Creating and maintaining regular reporting for hiring managers.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external search firms as a source to generate qualified candidates
  • Maintaining and updating all job descriptions
  • Assisting with recruiting analytics reporting and statistics
  • Keeping up-to-date on key market trends in the industry for all position levels
  • Creating presentation slides and decks consistent with Golub Capital writing standards
  • Assisting with ad-hoc recruiting and broader HR Team projects and initiatives as required


Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree is required; strong academic credentials
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in recruiting; experience in financial services is strongly preferred
  • Experience in direct sourcing, especially utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Strong technology skills including Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems; experience with applicant tracking systems (specifically Workday) is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, highly accurate
  • Strong analytical and project management skills; ability to manage initiatives from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding client service skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable communicating with senior executives
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated and willing to roll up sleeves to get the job done; thrives in a competitive, fast-paced environment and has a passion for continuous improvement
  • High attention to detail and accuracy; capable of preparing and presenting proposals in a logical and thoughtful way

Compensation & Benefits
For Illinois and New York Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $170,000 to $200,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
