IT Governance Business Analyst
NOTE: This is a full-time employment opportunity (No C2C, subcontractor or 1099 engagements, please.) The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation. This is a remote opportunity.
Daily Responsibilities
Duties will include documentation of governance board meetings, agendas, minutes and decisions.
Other items may include meeting facilitation, after action reports, tracking action items to closure, status reporting, establishing reporting dashboards.
Support shall also include tracking of Risks, Action Items, Issues, and Decisions for each of the Governance Boards.
May be required to develop process flow diagrams using business process modeling notation (BPMN) for the Governance Boards.
Provide After Action support services that assist with the preparation of various reports, briefing data calls, presentation, graphic documentation, as well as support for other day-to-day or ad-hoc IT Governance related activities that arise on an unplanned basis and for which assistance is needed.
Assist in the entry, tracking and closure of change requests to minimize risk to operational systems and services.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as mandated by our government client.
Must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.
5+ years of IT management related risk and compliance experience. Experience participating in governance, risk, and compliance programs within complex organizational structures, enterprise level is preferable. Experience documenting risk methodologies, maintaining risk registers, and initiating risk assessments for applicable environments. Proven ability to identify, generate, and maintain metrics used to demonstrate relative risk and justify program growth expectations. Knowledge of the latest information security standards, privacy laws, and regulations to ensure compliance both with internal security policies and external compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.
Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISK are a PLUS.
