What you will be working on:

1. Server & System Administration

• Lead the administration and maintenance ofWindows and Linux-based serversin a data center environment.
• Overseeconfiguration, patching, upgrades, and monitoringof server infrastructure.
• Manage system performance, security hardening, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Implementautomation toolsto improve efficiency in system administration tasks.

2. Application & Web Administration

• Administer and maintain enterprise applications, web servers, and middleware platforms.
• Support and optimizeweb applications, APIs, and related servicesfor security and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuringminimal downtime and optimal performance.

3. DevSecOps & Security Compliance

• IntegrateDevSecOps principlesinto system administration, ensuring secure, automated, and scalable infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implementaccess controls, monitoring, and vulnerability management.
• Ensure compliance with security standards.

4. Cloud & Virtualization Support

• Support cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
• Developcloud migration strategiesand recommend best practices for cloud adoption.

5. Leadership & Team Coordination

• Lead a team of system administrators, providing mentorship, task delegation, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, security professionals, and IT leadership.
• Document and communicate best practices, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.

What you will bring to us (Must):

• Bachelor's and 8-12 years of experience
• Active Top Secret clearance
• Clearable for TS/SCI and/or polygraph
• 5+ years of experiencein system administration for Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong experience with server configuration, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in web server administration(IIS, Apache, ColdFusion) and application hosting.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools(Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience in virtualization and containerization(VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Understanding of cloud computing environments(AWS, Azure) is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, firewalls, and access management.
• Sec+ certification

SOFT SKILLS

• Ability to lead a team, mentor junior administrators, and drive technical projects.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsin high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functionalenvironment.
