Position Specific Description

The Regional Wind Site Manager will oversee a portfolio of wind assets for the Oklahoma North region in Enid, Oklahoma. This position will be based at a regional asset and will require 50% travel within the region. In this role you will be directly responsible for safe operations of each site which includes site management, technical services, field execution, developing and maintaining a highly engaged workforce, budgeting and landowner relations.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline, MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, strong background in operations and asset management with a focus on safety, financial performance and quality
  • Experience in managing multiple remote sites
  • History of building relationships with community leaders, regulatory agencies, equipment manufacturers, and local government representatives
  • Ability to manage multiple complicated tasks and achieve flawless execution
  • At least a Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent quality skills
  • Microsoft suite proficiency
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time


Job Overview

Leaders in this job oversee the Operations and Maintenance activities for multiple wind sites or clusters. Individuals are responsible for the overall safe and reliable operation of the wind sites.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures compliance to all Power Generation Division (PGD) operational model processes
Leads by example and emulates the PGD shared values
Develops cost-effective operations and maintenance programs
Interfaces with land owners, utilities, regulatory agencies, and local government and community representatives
Monitors and controls plant budget
Ensures that contractual obligations are met
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
High School Grad / GED
Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 7+ years
Supervisor/Management Experience: 5+ years
Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
