The Opportunity
Analyst, Pricing and Revenue Management will be responsible for developing and executing analytics expertise to progress organizational goals around organic profitable goals. The role will deliver predictive analytics models, prescriptive analytics models, and actionable insights on competitive pricing models, protecting margin, and increasing profit through price adjustments. In addition, this role will work with Sales Execution to manage accurate pricing in quoting tools and processes in addition to designing analytics models to propose and evaluate value creation opportunities through price changes. She/he is expected to execute on pricing and revenue management projects that deliver meaningful margin impact and value.
The Team
The role will collaborate with cross functional teams across North American business segments, including Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Supply Chain group. The role will work with Sales on Dealer Trade programs, End Customer pricing promotions and situational discounting policy and governance.

The Team

Responsibilities
- Apply sophisticated analytics and statistical capabilities to size up potential margin impact, develop scenario modeling analytics to calculate upside/downside impact, volume hurdle, and breakeven analysis in addition to Price/Volume/Mix analysis on margin impact
- Manage postmortem analytics or ROI on pricing initiatives.
- Execute project charter, update decision-making framework, and execute price changes.
- Responsible for generating incremental margin gain through price increases.
- Maintain constant margin through price adjustments despite labor inflation, raw material cost fluctuations.
- Protect margin through price adjustment on cost savings achieved by Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Global Product Management organizations. Implement impactful margin protection strategies leveraging deep understanding of suppliers and current / future cost inputs.
- Develop and provide reports to senior management on Price Effectiveness, Price Elasticity, Competitive Dynamics, Price/Volume regression analytics, Price/Volume/Mix impact across all key products.
- Forecast margin and profitability trends by product line, by customer across market sectors and regions.
- Conduct competitive pricing and program analysis, while simplifying and modernizing pricing tools and programs.
- Perform additional related duties as requested or required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (four-year college or university)
- 5 years' experience in Data Analytics, Statistics, Multivariable Regression Analysis, Time Series Modeling
- Strong statistical and data analytical skills (Python/R, Tableau, SQL, etc.)
- Ability to use Python/R to map seasonality of pricing, margin impact, scenario modeling, margin projections, price/volume/mix impact on margin
- Experience with building/constructing prescriptive analytics and predictive analytics
- Experience with model building, scenario planning
- Strong financial acumen
- Strong communication skills (verbally and written)
- Results/goal/detail oriented
- Decisive, organized and results oriented.
- Able to plan, coordinate and delegate activities with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Applications with a strong focus on MS Excel
