About the Role:

Ovative is hiring a Senior Manager, Experience Design to lead the evolution of our EMRge platform-Ovative's proprietary MarTech product suite. This role will be responsible for driving exceptional, user-centered experiences across new and existing applications that span the end-to-end marketing planning, buying, and measurement lifecycle.

As a key leader on the EMRge team, you will shape how marketers interact with a sophisticated suite of tools-bringing simplicity, clarity, and delight to the complex. You'll lead design discovery and delivery efforts across multiple product capabilities, partner with Product and Engineering leaders, and mentor a growing design team. Your leadership will not only elevate the craft of design but also ensure that our user experience is a true differentiator in the marketplace.

Responsibilities of a Sr. Manager, Experience Design:

  • Lead UX Strategy & Execution: Champion a holistic, user-centric experience across EMRge applications (e.g. dashboards, scenario planning and budgeting tools, media activation and QA interfaces, developer interfaces, etc.)


  • Design Leadership: Define and evangelize design principles, patterns, and systems that create consistency across a modular product ecosystem.


  • Team Management: Directly manage and coach a Manager-level Experience Designer, with future opportunity to grow the team.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to turn ambiguous business goals into intuitive, scalable user experiences.


  • Research & Discovery: Lead generative and evaluative research with internal users and clients to uncover needs, validate concepts, and identify friction points.


  • Design Execution: Roll up your sleeves to create UX artifacts-journey maps, flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes-when needed to push work forward.


  • Roadmap Influence: Use a combination of user feedback, usability insights, and industry best practices to proactively inform product strategy and roadmap prioritization across EMRge


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in UX, product design, or service design roles in software development environments


  • 2+ years of experience managing and mentoring design talent


  • Strong portfolio demonstrating systems-level thinking and elegant solutions for complex workflows or data-rich platforms


  • Mastery in user research techniques, design strategy, interaction design, and visual/UI design principles


  • Expert proficiency in Figma (design systems, prototyping, component libraries)


  • Comfortable using design collaboration and delivery tools such as FigJam, Miro, Jira, Confluence, and user testing platforms


  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to influence stakeholders and leadership


  • Experience owning UAT and driving structured feedback cycles into design updates and platform consistency


  • Experience designing for B2B SaaS, analytics platforms, or enterprise tools is a plus


Pay Transparency

At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. Additional benefits information is provided below.

For our Sr. Manager positions, our compensation ranges from $111,000 to $186,000, which is inclusive of a 25% bonus.
