Requirements of the IS&T Contract Negotiations Manager:
- Lead negotiations on client-side contracts to achieve cost reductions and secure favorable terms.
- Evaluate vendor proposals, contracts, and pricing models to uncover cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.
- Formulate and execute negotiation strategies that align with client needs and organizational goals.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts meet business objectives and regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor and assess contract performance, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for renegotiation or improvement.
- Provide insights and training to internal teams on best practices in negotiation and cost-saving strategies.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry benchmarks, and legal developments affecting contract negotiations.
Qualifications of the IS&T Contract Negotiations Manager:
- 7+ years of experience in contract negotiations, procurement, or cost management, with a focus on client-side operations.
- In-depth understanding of contract law, financial analysis, and negotiation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in achieving significant cost savings and favorable contract terms.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Certification in contract management or negotiation (e.g., Certified Professional Contract Manager) is preferred.
- Experience in IT-intensive environments or Healthcare IT, and proficiency in contract management lifecycle is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Compensation of the IS&T Contract Negotiations Manager:
- Salary range: $115,000-$135,000 *based on experience*
- Comprehensive benefit package: Full Medical, Dental, and Vision, 401k, Sick Leave as required by law
