Serves as a subject-matter expert with deep knowledge of the core Beacon Epic application, related non-Epic products/applications and the supported operational processes. Typically focuses across multiple areas of a broad process within the supported application, most often encompassing significant integrations with related Epic and non-Epic systems. Applies a consultative approach in working across internal teams and external partners to understand and define difficult problems. Within standard protocols, independently manages the design, build/configuration, testing and ongoing support of assigned areas of the Epic application encompassing advanced configurations and/or complex implementations.

Typically focuses across multiple areas of a broad process within the supported application, most often encompassing significant integrations with related Epic and non-Epic systems. Within standard protocols, independently manages the design, build/configuration, testing and ongoing support of assigned areas of the Epic application encompassing advanced configurations and/or complex implementations.
The Senior IT Epic Analyst will be responsible for:
- Serving as a subject-matter expert in Epic and related systems across clinical and revenue cycle processes
- Leading design, configuration, testing, and support of complex Epic solutions and integrations
- Collaborating with operations to analyze workflows, identify root causes, and implement data-driven solutions
- Managing cross-functional projects involving Epic and third-party system integrations
- Triaging and resolving advanced support tickets, especially those spanning multiple applications
- Performing advanced system builds, configurations, and documentation for large-scale user impact
- Coordinating with IT and vendors to implement and maintain Epic-integrated solutions
- Managing upgrades, reviewing release notes, and prioritizing new features for implementation
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders and facilitating project and team meetings
- Supporting training development and providing specialized instruction to user groups
- Mentoring junior analysts and guiding team best practices and technical decision-making
- Participating in professional development, conferences, and Epic certification opportunities
To qualify, you must have:
- Bachelor's Degree is required or An Associate's Degree with an additional 2 years of related experience or a high school diploma/GED with an additional 4 years of related experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree.is required
- 3 years of experience directly involved in Beacon Epic application support and/or implememtation performing builds in the targeted application(s). Demonstrated experience performing moderately complex builds is required
- 5 years of experience directly involved in Beacon Epic application support performing builds in the targeted application(s). Demonstrated experience performing moderately complex builds is preferred
- Beyond the requisite Epic experience, direct system/application support experience involving operational analysis will be credited.
- Experience working directly in the specific domain (Beacon) being supported: hospital revenue cycle, patient scheduling, finance/billing, etc. demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges of the groups supported.
