The Opportunity:
Support the DoD as Senior System Architect for an Army Task Order that provides system administration, network administration, and database administration to support, maintain and operate an enclave of the Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN). This is an all-encompassing role which will require multiple specialties, to include system architecture, network engineering, system and cloud administration.
This position is a hybrid position that traditionally requires 2 days onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$98,500 - 206,800 USD

The Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
- Work with a highly virtualized infrastructure to enable software development to occur in a DoD RMF approved network
- Improve, maintain, configure, install, harden, and report on a DoD network consisting of Cisco switches, routers, and security devices
- Ensure network meets and/or exceeds Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) requirements to maintain the network's Authority to Operate (ATO)
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Experience in taking program requirements and creating an architecture vision, having experience in high volume and high availability networks and systems
- Experience dictating design choices to software developers, including but not limited to: platforms, coding and technical levels
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, information security/authorization profiles, or system administration of Linux or Windows networks/systems.
- Experience with VMware vSphere administration
- Experience with Red Hat Linux (or other Linux variant)
- Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure)
- Minimum education of Master's Degree. Minimum degree requirement of Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required
- Minimum years of experience of 10 years.10 years of additional Relevant Experience may be substituted for education requirement
- Must have at a minimum 5 years of experience with the analysis, design, development, testing, and delivery of business-critical software applications associated with Communications Electronics Research Development and Engineering Center (C5ISR CENTER) Army Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) efforts.
- DCWF Work Role 422-Data Analyst - Advanced certification required (CCISO, CISM, CISSP, GSLC)
Desired:
- Experience with Cisco Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- Experience with Cisco ISE
- Experience monitoring the system configuration, including the server event log
- Experience testing the operating system software, the networking software and the computer hardware
