Reports To: Director, Business Transformation

Position Summary:

The Associate Director of Program Management will play a pivotal role in driving large strategic transformations that impact people, process, technology, and data. This position requires a dynamic leader with strong program management expertise, a strong technical background, and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple departments in a highly matrixed environment. The AD of Program Management will also play an active role as an internal change agent ensuring adoption of new processes and systems throughout the organization. The person in this role must have strong technical and organizational skills and be an informed team leader that makes timely decisions within a high energy, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Program and Project Managers.
  • Lead and manage large-scale strategic transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, global business services, digital experience, product, sales, marketing, customer experience, and other departments, to drive project success.
  • Develop and implement program and project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Develop resource allocation plans and RASCIs.
  • Manage dependencies between multiple projects and multiple business unit needs.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues and challenges.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and engagement, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Produce clear and concise executive reports and have confidence to present to an executive-level audience on program status and progress including financial recognition.
  • Successfully lead the delivery of projects utilizing direct and non-direct reports.
  • Be an informed leader that makes and drives timely decisions within a high energy fast-paced environment.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging lean methodology, process improvement, and system enhancements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities and effective collaboration.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in program management and change management, with a focus on large-scale strategic transformations.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to help teams overcome barriers to drive results.
  • Ability to concisely and clearly articulate complex problems, potential solutions, and other complex information to diverse audiences - through written and verbal communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong technical background, with experience in enterprise business systems, process changes, and data management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with lean methodology, process improvement, and system enhancements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and drive solutions.
  • Comfortable in developing effective relationships with cross functional stakeholders, senior leadership, and executive leadership across the organization.
  • Conflict management skills including the ability to work with and resolve conflicting needs and requirements.
  • Ability to analyze data, properly articulate and take proactive action on risks and dependencies.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate technical concepts.
  • Possess a sense of accountability and pride for delivering on time and on budget with expected quality.
  • Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize in the face of multiple project demands and focus on critical details.
  • Strong interpersonal leadership skills and ability to commit, influence, motivate and successfully manage teams while working in a matrix / dotted line management structure and with teams that are not direct reports.
  • Ability to learn new concepts/hardware/technologies quickly.
  • Excellent meeting management, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to stay on track, pursue solutions without supervision, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.


Preferred Skills:
Experience in change management and organizational development.
Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems, integrations, and data migrations.
Knowledge of Salesforce.com and NetSuite, including SCA and Suite billing, is a plus.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
Experience with multinational corporate structures.
PMI / Lean / Agile certification(s) are a strong plus.
