Responsibilities

  • Leading and driving strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer experience goals.


  • Innovating and improving design challenges by proactively developing new methods, tools, and processes; analyzing intricate issues and resolving complex design


  • Exercising independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve optimal results; as well as crafting clear, comprehensive design documentation that communicates design intent


  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and project execution and providing mentorship and guidance to junior designers


  • Demonstrating advanced communication skills, effectively presenting design concepts, solutions, and strategies.


  • Identifying beforehand, potential risks or issues in design processes or customer experiences and presenting well-thought-out solutions to management.


  • Owning work and making decisions with minimal supervision, delivering high-quality results on time and within scope.


  • Leading user research, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and journey mapping to identify opportunities for design improvements.


What we're looking for
  • Have a wealth of experience in user-centered design focusing on crafting influential functional and visual designs, and cultivating engaging micro-interactions over an extensive career
  • Be proficient in design tools such as Figma and other relevant design software to create experiences on various interfaces.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of working on complex issues and designing creative solutions that impact the customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Have experience mentoring and guiding junior designers, taking ownership of projects, and working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess excellent collaboration skills, providing clear communication and influencing design decisions across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate advanced ability to communicate design concepts, solutions, and strategies to various stakeholders.
  • Possess a background in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).


Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:
$124 000,00

Maximum:
$271 200,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
