Description:
Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
As TULIP application's features continues to grow and evolve, the need for a dedicated Systems Analyst has become increasingly critical. Many of our current operational challenges stem from inefficiencies in workflows, recurring system issues, and gaps between business requirements and technology solutions. A Systems Analyst will play a vital role in conducting root cause analysis, identifying underlying system and process inefficiencies, and implementing solutions that prevent recurring problems. By proactively addressing these issues, we can reduce downtime, increase productivity, and ensure smoother business operations. Furthermore, this role will drive process improvements by evaluating existing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending automation or optimization strategies. Many of our current processes contain redundancies or manual inefficiencies that slow down operations and increase costs. A Systems Analyst will work cross-functionally with business units and IT teams to ensure that technology solutions align with business needs, improving collaboration and reducing miscommun ication.
