Position Summary
Brief Description of PSU/School/Dept
Position Summary
Under the guidance of the Centers for Excellence Administrator, the OCEACT Director oversees the implementation and ongoing support of evidence-based Assertive Community Treatment in selected sites across Oregon, in accordance with the Oregon Health Authority contract. Directly supervises and mentors OCEACT team members. Performs ACT fidelity reviews of programs across the state. Conducts training in ACT and other evidence-based mental health interventions at mental health agencies, at annual events, and via webinars. Proactively keeps the Centers' Administrator apprised of OCEACT's progress, areas of need and concern, and strategies to improve the Centers' impact and reach. Coordinates OCEACT advisory board. Travels extensively across Oregon for trainings, consultations, and assessments.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate degree in psychology or behavioral science.
Working knowledge of Oregon's behavioral healthcare system and Oregon Administrative Rules.
At least three (3) years of clinical experience in ACT.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with effective public speaking abilities.
Familiar with current practices and research in psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery-focused services, including ACT, Integrated Dual Diagnosis, Illness Management, and recovery-oriented models such as Illness Management and Recovery or the Eight Dimensions of Wellness.
Willing to travel extensively throughout Oregon, with occasional national trips.
Possess sufficient business experience to meet the demands of the position, including proficiency in various software applications and communication technologies, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Successfully pass a criminal history check.
Proof of a current, valid Oregon Driver's License, comprehensive automobile insurance, and a safe driving record to use either an agency or personal vehicle for required duties.
Ability to use active listening skills with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
Ability to maintain a positive, cheerful persona along with professional attire and demeanor that reflects well on the organization's image.
Ability to manage frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
Customer relations skills, including the ability to work with diverse individuals in a stressful environment, demonstrate an understanding of group dynamics, and handle stress competently.
Demonstrated strong organizational abilities and effective time management.

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement
PSU has a structured process for determining starting compensation, taking into account years of related experience, applicable skills, knowledge and abilities, market parity, and internal equity. The starting annual salary for this position is $72,732 - $96,384, but may be negotiated above this rate dependent upon the factors above, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR. This is a benefited position; benefits include retirement contributions, 95% premium paid health care, and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse, or dependent at Oregon University System schools.
