ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sr Talent Acquisition & Diversity Partner will work with hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the workforce and to recruit the best talent available for current and upcoming opportunities.

In addition to full-cycle recruitment responsibilities, this role may play a key part in supporting the Internship Program, Veterans Recruiting Initiatives, and Candidate Engagement Campaigns.

Essential Functions
  • Serve as a trusted Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner by building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers and prospective candidates. Provide strategic guidance to ensure job expectations are clearly defined, roles are effectively marketed, and candidates are successfully sourced, evaluated, and hired.
  • Potentially Lead Early Career Talent initiatives, including Internships, Campus engagement, and outreach efforts focused on Transitioning Military and Veterans.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team members to plan and execute Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) campaigns using iCIMS, with a focus on building and maintaining talent pipelines.
  • Evaluate hiring and interview processes and techniques, system improvements and identify training opportunities where applicable
  • Serve as a role model/mentor to other staff members to include supporting and training other staff members as necessary to ensure smooth operation of the department. Support team members on complex assignments and strategic workforce planning conversations
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their business and recruitment needs, including long term talent pipelining needs, and fill their open positions in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for full life cycle recruiting process for identified roles across the organization for exempt and non-exempt positions
  • Ensure hiring plans provide equal opportunities to all candidates (internal and external)
  • Manage candidates through the entire interview and hiring process, from assessing candidate, qualifications to negotiating offers and managing pre-employment requirements and onboarding
  • Effectively utilize and maintain all pertinent applicant and interview documentation and data in applicant tracking system
  • Develop recruitment strategies to include internet job boards, networking, resume mining, social networking, campaigns, internal transfers, and other channels to attract a diverse pool of candidates utilizing the most cost-effective methods and techniques to meet staffing levels
  • Actively participate in all staffing-related activities and engage in cross-functional projects, partner with marketing team as needed
  • Act as project owner and mentor the project lead (TA&D Partner) on special projects such as the employee referral program, third party staffing agency program, campus recruiting program (including high schools, college, and trade schools), or recruitment marketing projects
  • Partner with the Sr Manager of Talent Acquisition to develop and lead the diversity, equity, and inclusion program for the organization, including talent attraction strategies, process improvement and training development. Lead DEI related projects that could include ERG program support, employee review platforms, etc.
  • Support the execution of activities, hiring best practices, and training that reinforces inclusive company culture and helps to achieve DE&I objectives
  • Assist in meeting affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity recruitment goals

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years in a prior recruiting or talent acquisition /recruiting role is required, to include 2 years in a corporate recruiting environment
  • Minimum of 2 years prior of leadership or coaching experience is required (school, sports, volunteer activities, or workplace experience)
  • Prior experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience facilitating Internship Programs
  • Experience designing, implementing, and tracking Veterans Recruiting Programs (e.g., SkillBridge, RecruitMilitary)
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and experience developing candidate engagement strategies

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Strong customer focus and effective use of consultative approach with internal clients
  • Ability to coach/advise employees and management through sensitive HR issues to resolve conflict and seek workable solutions
  • Passion for improving the customer experience for hiring managers, candidates, and new hires
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with senior level executives, hiring managers and candidates
  • Capable of handling extremely confidential and sensitive information
  • Skilled at developing and leveraging consultative recruitment strategies
  • Ability to interpret and apply employment laws, rules, regulations, and policies
  • Skilled at multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to source resumes from multiple sources and conduct internet research preferred
  • Proficient computer skills (including MS Office/Word/Outlook) and have advanced knowledge and skill with web-based software and social media platforms
  • Occasional travel for career fair and other recruiting efforts may be required

WHAT WE OFFER

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary Hiring Range is $75,000 - $98,000 / year
    • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
