The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success. It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation. GSM has leading edge, effective processes to anticipate and exceed customer requirements.

For our growing Integrated Planning COE, we are in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Supply Chain Planning Process and System Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for championing and promoting use of standard planning processes and system, implementing standards across Corning Businesses and ongoing process improvement. Corning's Integrated Planning COE provides process, standardization, benchmarking and governance for supply planning processes and execution in the SAP S/4 HANA platform.

As the Global Process Expert, you will:
  • Bring defined standard supply planning process expertise and enable local Business execution within SAP S4H system.
  • Recommend appropriate process changes and SAP S/4 system settings and requirements, necessary to realize supply planning activities leveraging global standards.
  • Be responsible for process ownership, leading and owning global change management in the supply planning domain and developing the documentation with best-in-class practices and recommendations.
  • Document and transfer subject matter expertise and recommends to business power users responsible for executing supply chain planning steps.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business and/or related field.
  • (8+) years of experience with supply chain planning processes
  • At least 1-2 Implementation(s) of SAP ERP (i.e.: SAP ECC, S4H) incorporating execution and implementation.
  • Deep understanding and functional knowledge of supply planning processes, but not limited to: short term production planning, MRP, RCCP, ATP.


Desired Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of advanced supply chain planning processes and systems (i.e.: IBP, Kinaxis, o9). (keep, changed to advanced planning systems)
  • Knowledge of industry processes regulations and standards (APICS)
  • Experience in planning and driving global standards and process ownership and improvements.
  • Awareness of the key performance indicators used to monitor the effectiveness of supply planning.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex tasks in a simple, understandable way.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in matrix organization. Internal customer acumen and focus


Travel requirements:
  • Travel will constitute 30% of the role (Domestic Travel)
  • Ability to travel to international locations for duration of up to 2 weeks at a time.

The range for this position is $96,717.00 - $132,986.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
