Position Summary: Manages the daily activities of assigned employees to ensure timely and effective sales, delivery, and service to all assigned accounts.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manages pay for performance, merchandising, sales goals, and market share in assigned district by developing a well trained, highly motivated sales force to reach monthly/annual sales objectives. Spends 50-70 % of the time in the trade: training and monitoring assigned employees and calling on accounts on a regular basis.
  • Hires, trains, evaluates, and disciplines staff as appropriate.
  • Maintains and strives to improve customer relations and good will through ensuring adequate servicing by subordinates; through personal attention to opportunity areas and through trade visits with major accounts.
  • Follows and enforces Anheuser Busch equity agreement and other supplier contract Code Date policies.
  • Utilizes and strictly enforces Trade Call Frequency Book Program as accounts are visited for self and assigned employees to make retail trade expansion of product/package distribution and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures assigned Area Sales Manager manages Sales Representatives' loading of trucks with proper product/package to minimize load return.
  • Identifies trends/changes in market and monitors competitive activity and informs Company management of all relevant issues to include pricing, packaging and promotions.
  • Ensures the installation of paper (promotional and theme) and permanent P.O.S in the dominant position in each account to maintain Silver Eagle's dominance.
  • Ensures that Area Sales Managers make all relevant changes in retail accounts are made in the VIP computer database.
  • Participates in the preparation of departmental operating and operating budgets and maintains cost conscious attitude in the administration of the budget.
  • Develops a schedule and ensures execution of regular trade and night call activity in assigned accounts.
  • Participates in special events -i.e. - Rodeo, Ethnic events, Brewery events, etc.
  • Makes sales calls on licensed accounts (including non-buyers) in assigned district. Works closely with Area Sales Manager and Sales Representative to sell non-buyers.
  • Ensures efficient route sequencing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years Sales / National Accounts and 1-2 years of management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level knowledge in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point. Margin Minder and Mobility knowledge preferred.
  • Must be able to push at least 300 lbs dolly loaded and move 161 lbs kegs.
  • Must handle alcohol and work within T.A.B.C Guidelines.
  • Must have a cell phone with data capability.


  • Physical Requirements:

  • Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus).
  • Continuous standing and walking, up to 8 hours at a time.
  • Continuous lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 20-161 lbs.
  • Ability to operate a two or four wheel dolly.
  • Must be able to push 300 lbs dolly load and move 161 lbs kegs.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and a pallet jack.
  • Frequent driving distances between 0-75 miles in one sitting.
  • Frequent climbing, pushing, pulling and maneuvering dolly, hand truck, bay roll up doors, straps, curb ramps, truck doors, boxes, cases, kegs, truck gear shift.
