General Summary:

The Strategy & Analysis team is responsible for leading strategic development and execution for Mobile, Compute and XR business unit strategic projects. The team is responsible for driving Qualcomm's strategic initiatives, making ecosystem investments, establishing strategic partnerships and joint ventures, as well as incubating new businesses.

Your Role

Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Analysis, this role will support the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Influences C-level executives on a wide range of business issues, including investments, new market and business opportunities, partnerships etc.
• Designs and develops business models, market strategies or M&A activities for organizational effectiveness.
• Provides business rational and risk assessment for making investments in focus.
• Works with executives on identification of strategic problems. Works with both internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions
• Develop external partnerships to drive new business opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Strategy & Analysis or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 4+ years of Strategy & Analysis or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in and deep understanding of mobile, wireless, automotive, and/or IoT industries
• Ability to break down complex problems using structured problem-solving techniques, including gathering and analyzing information, identifying strategic drivers for a problem, and developing and communicating recommendations
• Experience in market research, strategy formulation, and strategy implementation
• Strong financial skills (analysis, valuation, and modeling)
• Strong analytical skills (esp. Excel analysis of P&L and market forecasting)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (esp. executive presentations)
• Self-driven and motivated with strong persuasive skills
• 4+ years of experience working in a technical engineering or computer science role which required direct application of electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science to solve technical problems; or
• 4+ years of experience in product management, management consulting, investment banking, private equity, financial advisory, corporate development, or strategy in a technology company

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$121,600.00 - $182,400.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
