About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Manager, Finance to support our financial operations and provide strategic insights that drive business performance for a key operating company. Reporting directly to the Controller, this generalist finance leader will work across core finance functions including financial planning and analysis, reporting, compliance, and operational finance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and can effectively partner with cross-functional teams to ensure sound financial decision-making.
Here's what you'll do day-to-day:

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
  • Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses
  • Support internal and external audit preparation

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Assist in annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, and long-range planning processes
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to drive profitability and cost efficiency
  • Partner with department leaders to support departmental budget management and scenario planning

Billing, Operational Finance & Process Improvement
  • Oversee billing processes in coordination with the Controller and operations teams
  • Monitor AR and AP activities, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations and strengthen internal controls
  • Support working capital management and cash flow forecasting
  • Manage migration of financial programs and procedures, such as moving from Quickbooks to NetSuite

Compliance & Controls
  • Help maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Assist with documentation and implementation of finance policies and procedures

Business Partnership & Strategic Support
  • Provide financial guidance to cross-functional teams on new initiatives, vendor negotiations, and investment decisions
  • Translate financial data into actionable business insights for senior leadership
Here's what we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus)
    7+ years of progressive finance experience, with exposure to FP&A, billing, reporting, and operational finance
  • Experience working with NetSuite
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced Excel proficiency
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to partner with and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive mindset with a drive to improve processes and solve problems

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 and serves as a general guideline reflecting the potential compensation for the role. The final salary offer will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of factors such as the candidate's experience, expertise, alignment with the position's requirements, and, ultimately budget approvals.
