Job Description Summary:
Faegre Drinker is seeking an Associate Recruiting Specialist to work with our Talent team, to be based in our Denver office. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to adding associate attorney talent to the firm. Your work would include recruiting, integrating and onboarding law students, law clerks, lateral attorneys, and other lawyer personnel related duties. You will oversee the Summer Associate Programs and student recruitment efforts for both the Denver and Los Angeles offices, contributing directly to our firm's growth and success.

Job Description:

What you would do:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all aspects of law student recruiting and Summer Associate Programs in assigned regions
  • Draft, finalize and post job openings for associate and consultant roles (firm-wide)
  • Collaborate with the Associate Recruiting Managers and Directors to review resumes
  • Prepare recruitment status reports and track key hiring metrics
  • Collaborate with the Associate Recruiting Managers and Directors on the end-to-end planning, logistics and execution of On-Campus Interviews (OCIs)
  • Gather and manage interview feedback, facilitating the callback process
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the external website is up to date with benefits and OCI information
  • Lead the planning and hosting of the firm-wide Summer Program, including coordinating orientation schedules and planning social and networking events at the local and national level
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and law schools
  • Develop creative strategies to market the firm to law schools and other recruiting sources
  • Manage special projects as assigned, ensuring alignment with department goals

The typical hiring range for this position is $36.73 - $41.06 per hour with a scheduled 37.5-hour work week. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities. The range listed is just one component of Faegre Drinker's total compensation and benefits package for employees which includes life, health, accident and disability insurance and a 401(k) plan.

What is required:
  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent years of experience
  • At least five years of full-cycle recruiting experience required in a law firm or professional services organization
  • Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System, experience with generating recruiting reports;
  • Experience working with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar recruiting platforms
  • Knowledge of attorney recruiting field and procedures not required but considered a plus
  • An understanding of NALP policies relating to recruiting is a plus
