Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Build and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable automation frameworks.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and regression testing.
- Perform exploratory, manual, and automated testing as needed to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Continuously improve testing processes and adopt industry best practices for automation.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Strong scripting skills in languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Azure DevOps experience
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing.
- Proficiency in TypeScript for writing maintainable and type-safe test scripts.
- Knowledge of modern web development technologies (e.g., React, Node.js) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured).
