Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with a strong focus on software automation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate is proficient in test automation tools and scripting, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. Bonus points: experience with Playwright and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Build and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable automation frameworks.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and regression testing.
  • Perform exploratory, manual, and automated testing as needed to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and adopt industry best practices for automation.
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Azure DevOps experience
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript for writing maintainable and type-safe test scripts.
  • Knowledge of modern web development technologies (e.g., React, Node.js) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured).
