Description:

The Division of Infectious Diseases and International Health at the University of Virginia is seeking a full time Assistant Professor of Medicine to join our Infectious Disease team in Charlottesville, Virginia. Clinical work will include a focus on HIV and immunocompromised transplant patients. The candidate will see patients in the HIV ambulatory setting and fulfill transplant inpatient consult service and outpatient assignments. The candidate will also attend on the attending-only inpatient consultation service, the general ID consult service, in the general ID outpatient clinic, and perform other clinical functions within the Division. The candidate will actively participate in the inpatient teaching program with Infectious Disease fellows, medical house staff and medical students.

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and be sub-specialty board-certified or board-eligible in Infectious Disease by appointment start date, possess outstanding clinical, technical and interpersonal skills, and training from top-rated institutions.
