The ideal candidate will have expertise in Selenium and Java, and will work in a hybrid model with day shifts. This role does not require travel. Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain geospatial applications using Java and Selenium to ensure high performance and responsiveness. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance our geospatial capabilities. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging of geospatial applications to ensure optimal functionality and performance. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for geospatial applications to ensure seamless user experience. - Implement best practices for software development and ensure code quality through regular code reviews. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in geospatial engineering to bring innovative solutions to the team. - Create and maintain technical documentation for geospatial applications to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity. - Optimize application performance and scalability to handle large datasets and complex geospatial queries. - Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in geospatial application development. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards in all geospatial applications. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools to enhance team productivity. Qualifications - - Must have strong experience in Java and Selenium for developing and testing geospatial applications. - Should have a solid understanding of geospatial data structures and algorithms. - Experience with GIS software and tools is highly desirable. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. - Strong communication and collaboration skills are required. 9.
