POSTION SUMMARY:

The facilities manager oversees the operation and maintenance of our facilities. Building strong relationships with our teams to support our office settings. Strong leadership and experience in managing a team, tenants, light construction/repair work, and experience with contract management related to facilities. Strong desire to "wow" both internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Interacting with all 1st Security Bank employees to ensure they have sufficient resources available to meet their day-to-day job function from the facilities we operate; as well as corresponding with them on facility issues in a timely fashion with updates etc.
  • Management of facilities projects including new furniture orders, coordinating the moving of departments, and coordinating the various employees involved with upgrades and/or moves, ATMs, as well as remodels and acquisitions etc.
  • Overseeing facilities vendors working with the various locations for 1st Security Bank.
  • Occasional site visits to branches throughout the Clark, Grays Harbor, Klickitat, Pierce, and Thurston Counties, in Washington and Lincoln, Malheur and Tillamook to ensure our facilities are working in top fashion.
  • Maintain all our office space HVAC systems.
  • Provide monthly report to CRO of monthly progress on tasks completed and or in process.
  • Maintain Records (Items that need to be repaired, Cost of Items to be repaired, Leases, Lease Renewal and Collection on accessible spreadsheet).
  • Crisis management relating to facilities. Specifically banking, it involves the quick temporary repair of any vandalized facilities and/or broken equipment.
  • Working with the CRO to identify cost savings associated with the facility operating structure. This will include reviewing various vendors; landscaping, repair work, plumbing, maintenance, janitorial services, electrical work, and upgrades to LED, applying for upgrade rebates, etc.
  • Lead and follow the Bank's Core Values.
  • Strong leadership skills: Hiring, training, and managing employees.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Must have at least 5 years of property management experience.
  • A degree, certification, or equivalent experience
  • Must have experience with tenants and tenant relations.
  • Must be capable of performing repair functions such as paint touch up, sheetrock repair, minor plumbing and electrical work, knowledge of HVAC systems, building condition inspections, hanging pictures, installing shelves, and repairing hardware.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must be bondable.


COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.
