Infosys is seeking an Lead Azure Data Engineer. In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Hartford, CT or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 1 years of experience in Lead and manage a team to design and optimize scalable data pipeline using Spark/PySpark in the Databricks environment.
- At least 4 years of experience in Develop and maintain data pipelines and architectures integrating Azure Data Factory and Azure Cloud services.
- Expertise in SQL and deep understanding of database concepts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver actionable insights for business needs.
- Apply best practices for distributed computing, DevOps, and cost optimization in the Azure Cloud ecosystem.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code review for the data engineering team.
- Stay updated with industry trends to introduce new technologies and enhance data strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expected to lead offshore database engineers.
- Experience is working with client business users and other stakeholders to understand reporting / dashboarding requirements and then translating them to technical design and implement entire technical solution
- Ability to play a Techno Functional role.
