We provide unique perspectives through data-informed insights and foster deep, collaborative and consultative relationships with the stakeholders we engage.

Specifically, the Resource Management Technology & Data Associate will:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and IT team to evaluate best tools and process to achieve goal

Designing, creating, and maintaining reports within the RM organization by utilizing data analysis tools to transform raw data into visually appealing and insightful reports that enable informed decision-making by stakeholders

Test new reports and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and require

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Workday and PowerBI reports that drive staffing insights, including but not limited to utilization analytics, capacity reporting, forecast variances; provide templates for Resource Managers to guide conversations with business leaders


  • Act as a citizen developer, creating and enhancing business applications using approved low-code/no-code platforms, focusing on solutions that address specific business needs


  • Handle ad-hoc reporting requests and act as a point of escalation for business reporting needs


  • Maintain proficiency in the resource management systems / tools, including new releases and functionality; execute roll-out plans around new functionality and significant process changes of resource management technologies


  • Document business requirements and test system enhancements related to resource management systems, working with IT partners


  • Assist RM Shared Services team with developing and documenting data audit methodologies


  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration and reporting with Resource Management and IT.


  • Develop, maintain and deliver enterprise-level training related to resource management technologies for employees and project managers


  • Participate as an active member of the Resource Management team, identifying and deploying continual process improvement and standardization across the enterprise


  • Develop and manage project plans to completion for RM Technology & Data projects


  • Any other duties required by the Resource Management Technology & Data Lead to support overall resource management functions


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role has the right blend of professional experiences and skills to support a dynamic and fast-paced team in a critical operations role. They are solution-oriented, with an exceptional client service mentality and consultative mindset.

  • Huron requires a bachelor's degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience


  • 2+ years of related experience, specifically in the areas of reporting and data analysis, in a professional services organization or other relevant industry


  • Previous experience in resource management, staffing and / or IT strongly preferred


  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, utilizing intermediate to advanced functions and data aggregation / analysis techniques


  • Experience with PowerBI, Visio, Smartsheets and SharePoint required


  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management tools


  • Ability to translate data into meaningful business insights


  • Experience with Workday is preferred, but not required


  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously


  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills


  • Ability to think critically to problem-solve with creative and effective solutions


  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and meet deadlines, while also being an exceptional collaborator


  • Interest in working in a dynamic setting and flexibility to manage time sensitive priorities


  • Central Time Zone Work hours are strongly preferred

The estimated base salary range for this job is $75,000-$100,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $86,250-$115,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
