Description:
The Enterprise Transformation Lead oversees the successful delivery of large, complex
enterprise projects from conception through implementation. They guide the planning and
execution of the full work of delivering the solution for the organization. The Enterprise
Transformation Lead ensures that what is delivered matches and fully supports what is
requested, desired and needed by the ultimate clients of the project. As part of the Product
Owner team, they collaborate closely with the Business Product Owner and Technical Lead
to ensure the successful delivery of the overall solution.
Role Expectations
Develop and lead the strategic roadmap for enterprise transformation initiatives,from concept through implementation.
Oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring outcomes meet the needs and expectations of internal clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams, including executive sponsors, to align efforts and maintain focus on measurable value and success criteria.
Identify and mitigate delivery risks, while fostering an environment of proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Lead diverse project teams, integrating internal and external resources, to achieve project milestones and deliver transformative solutions.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure accountability, quality, and timely delivery of services and components.
Oversee project budgeting, resource planning, and financial tracking in collaboration with the Business Operations team.
Ensure consistent use of institutional tools, methodologies, and governance frameworks to support effective project execution.
Maintain high-quality documentation and reporting, providing regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Skill Requirements
Experience managing work in Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar work management tools
Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex transformation initiatives in enterprise environments.
Expertise in change management, digital transformation strategies, and solution delivery frameworks (e.g., Agile, hybrid models).
Strong expertise with the use of product management methods, tools and best practices
Expertise in software development lifecycles and the successful delivery of enterprise applications
Appropriate product management certifications are considered desirable
Strong oral and written communication skills, including executive-level presentation and reporting
Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent active listening skills
Highly developed interpersonal and facilitation skills, with a strong commitment to collaboration and transparency
Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
Higher education or public sector experience is highly desirable
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
Experience building a strong, collaborative team with a focus on client relationship management
Experience working with and/or on teams that deliver technology solutions iteratively and incrementally
Experience with ERP systems and integrations in a higher education context is an asset.
