You Are:

You are a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of manufacturing operations and a knack for managing complex production environments. With over 8 years of experience in a similar role, you bring a wealth of knowledge in operations management, particularly within the high-tech industry. Your expertise in planning for production capacity, managing readiness to produce, and overseeing consigned materials at contract manufacturing (CM) facilities sets you apart.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Developing the methodology for supporting and managing contract manufacturing (CM) partners.
  • Planning for production capacity to support business build forecasts.
  • Managing readiness to produce products according to schedule/forecast by overseeing Clear to Build (CTB) processes.
  • Managing consigned Synopsys material at CM factories.
  • Facilitating communication and coordination with CM partners, including overseeing shipping and receiving of finished goods.
  • Establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to measure CM performance.
  • Providing project management support to NPI managers and ensuring all project records reflect performance scope and goals.

  • Enhancing production capacity planning to ensure alignment with business forecasts.
  • Improving readiness and efficiency in production processes through effective management of CTB.
  • Ensuring optimal management of consigned materials at CM factories.
  • Strengthening communication and coordination with CM partners to streamline operations.
  • Driving performance improvements through effective tracking of KPIs and metrics.
  • Supporting successful project management for new product introductions (NPIs) and ensuring project goals are met.

What You'll Need:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position and industry.
  • BA/BS in Engineering, Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous project management experince, knowledge of Confluence preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Experience with modern ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Timely decision-making skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under time constraints.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with all management levels.
