The Role
The Operations Lead supports operations in the deployment of strategies. This include controlling various value streams, identifying problem areas, reporting on problems, extracting root causes, defining and proposing solutions, and managing purchased services teams.
You will also be the face of Quest Defense to your customers. Through listening to customer challenges, and building on your previous experiences, you will find creative approaches that will solve their most difficult engineering problems.

Pay Ranges
$95,000-$120,000 USD

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies.
- Manage value streams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain oversight of outsourced operations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Report on issues, identify problems and potential risks encountered in outsourced operations.
- Utilize data-driven approaches and conduct thorough root cause analysis to understand underlying issues.
- Identify and propose actionable solutions to address identified problems.
- Cooperate with stakeholders to implement solutions and improvements.
- Establish effective communication and coordination between internal and external teams.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
We're excited to talk to you if your qualifications meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, operations management or supply chain management.
- 5-10 years of experience in operations management and strategy deployment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Experience in root cause analysis and solution implementation.
- Leadership experience in managing teams and stakeholders
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
- Independence / work without direct supervision
- Substantial amounts of telephone, video conferencing and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
- Ability to travel with own transportation to visit customer locations.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
