Position Summary
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Peoria campus of the University of Illinois College of Medicine seeks full-time and part-time General OB/GYN physicians to provide comprehensive health care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including actively participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students. Peoria boasts the largest park district in Illinois withdozens of miles of walking/biking paths, an airport with 11 directdestinations, a vibrant music and arts scene, minor league sports, and a lowcost of living. The Peoria metro area is home to 375,000 people and just twohours from Chicago and St. Louis.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in obstetrics and gynecology, encompassing both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Actively participate in the teaching of residents and medical students in the context of clinical obstetrics and gynecology, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
- Engage in scholarly activities.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to teach residents and medical students.
- Experience or interest in research and academic leadership preferred.
