Summary:

This role will oversee allmaintenance/facility planning including station programming, mechanicalmaintenance, and DOT compliance, and environmental/emissions within the areawhile ensuring we uphold a successful safety record. The selected candidatewill adhere to all Partnership policies and procedures and operate within itsbudget set forth annually by the Partnership. This position is located in SouthTexas and is a key component in insuring that assets are maintained safely.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
  • Plans, organizes, and supervises the maintenancework on all rotating assets within 25 compressor stations.
  • Develops standards and guidelines forstaff requirements.
  • Evaluates, trains, and develops staff.
  • Ensures safety, cost reduction, andproductivity remain priorities in completing work assignments.
  • Maintains liaison and coordinates workwith other departmental sections and divisions as well as with public andprivate organizations.
  • Learns and becomes proficient in variousCompany programs and applications including the use of computers and smartdevices
  • Demonstrates analytical skills withability to make recommendations to management and drive projects through tocompletion


Requirements:Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
  • High School diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years' experience in field operations.
  • Knowledge in compression, pipeline, and construction operations.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must live within 60 miles of George West, Texas

  • Usually, normal office working conditions with 60% of time spent in the field.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally
