About the Opportunity
Join a compassionate and collaborative team providing essential psychiatric care to patients in a psychiatric inpatient setting. This unique role offers flexibility and the opportunity to deliver high-quality care to individuals with serious mental illness who otherwise may not have access to psychiatric care.
What You'll Do:
Deliver in-person mental health care in a freestanding 70-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital during business hours.
Average daily caseload of 12 patients. On average, 3 new admissions per week.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients 18 years or older with acute psychiatric disorders requiring inpatient hospitalization
What You'll Get:
Flexible schedule M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. You can go home and complete documentation remotely once you have finished in-person patient care responsibilities. Providers must be available by phone and have access to EPIC until 5:00 pm to address patient care issues.
OPTIONAL Call includes weekend coverage, phone call (5:00 pm- 8:00 am) and weekday coverage for other providers on PTO. Additional compensation opportunity!

However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.

What You Need:
- A graduate degree from an advanced nursing education program accredited by a national nursing accreditation body recognized by the United States Department of Education.
- An active Washington state RN license, without sanctions or restrictions
- State NP license
- Current CME hours to maintain licensure
- Adult/Gerontologic Psychiatry and/or Lifespan Certification of Completion from the American Nurse Credentialing Center or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners
- Registration capability with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
- An active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Requirements
- Certified psychiatric ARNP or D-ARNP
- Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
- Minimum 1-3 years clinical experience providing direct patient care
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
- Maintain a valid Washington State Motor Vehicle License
