What we need:

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager for our East San Francisco Bay location who will play a key leadership role within our restoration partner brands. As an Assistant GM, you will oversee the daily operations of a restoration location, ensuring strong business performance, employee development, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for driving growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a high-performing workplace culture. Your goal will be to execute best practices, enhance service delivery, and support the achievement of key business objectives.

Reporting to a Partner General Manager, the Assistant GM will play a critical role in driving business performance by understanding key financial drivers, tracking performance metrics, and supporting revenue growth and profitability. This leader will analyze financial performance, provide strategic insights, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Additionally, the role is instrumental in executing growth strategies, enhancing sales performance, and optimizing operational efficiency to expand market presence and strengthen the company's competitive position.

With the support of the Partner GM, parent company leadership, and a network of experienced operators, you'll have access to the resources needed to drive efficiency, enhance customer experience, and implement strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the partner company and Guardian Restoration Partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Maintain high employee satisfaction and retention by hiring and developing top talent.
  • Implement growth strategies, including direct, plumber, insurance referrals, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
  • Drive operational excellence by recruiting technicians and increasing service capacity.
  • Lead customer experience initiatives, achieving a 4.8+ Google rating and maintaining an 80+ NPS.
  • Identify growth opportunities within 60 days and ensure action items post-deal closure are completed within 90 days.
  • Enhance brand recognition and community engagement to position the company as the partner of choice for restoration services.
  • Drive profitable growth and execute financial strategies to meet Guardian's performance targets.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 4-5 years in sales, high-growth business, or P&L-exposed roles with revenue growth responsibility.
  • Proven ability to drive operational improvements, sales, and achieve financial targets.
  • 1+ years in a leadership role managing direct reports.
  • Experience in restoration or construction industries is preferred.

    Compensation:

    Guardian is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $150,000 - $175,000 plus an annual bonus and Equity. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
