Analytics Practice Lead

Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking an Analytics Practice Lead to join an innovative and growing company located in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities of the Analytics Practice Lead:

• Lead the creation and implementation of modern data strategies and platforms across client engagements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders-translating complex technical concepts into business value.
• Oversee delivery of scalable data solutions including data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses, and real-time analytics pipelines.
• Proficient in tools like Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Power BI, and other modern data stack components.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data engineers, analysts, and consultants.
• Support sales efforts by shaping solution approaches, responding to RFI and RFPs, estimating project scope and staffing, and delivering compelling client presentations.

Qualifications of the Analytics Practice Lead:

• 12+ years of experience in data analytics, including 5+ years in a leadership or consulting role.
• Experience overseeing and delivering end-to-end data solutions on at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with data integration tools, SQL, Python, visualization platforms (Power BI/Tableau), and modern data architectures.
• Proven ability to lead client-facing engagements and build long-term relationships.

Compensation of the Analytics Practice Lead:

• Salary range: $180,000-$210,000
