Job Description

As a Marketing Operations and Strategy Manager, you'll be a key partner to marketing leaders-connecting the dots across strategy, process, and execution. You'll help build the operational foundation that enables marketing teams to run efficiently, scale smartly, and drive results.

In this role, you'll translate high-level priorities into clear, actionable plans and beautiful, well-structured documents that align stakeholders and drive decision-making. You'll design scalable processes, build dashboards and tables, track performance against goals, and proactively identify areas for improvement. Whether defining new workflows or supporting resource planning, your work will ensure clarity, consistency, and impact.

You bring a sharp eye for detail, a knack for simplifying the complex, and a proactive mindset. You're comfortable working across teams, managing multiple workstreams, and helping shape both the strategic direction and the operational execution of a modern marketing organization.

What You'll Do
  • Build clear, compelling documents and visuals that align stakeholders and tell a cohesive operational story
  • Connect the dots across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between strategy and day-to-day execution
  • Translate marketing leadership goals into actionable plans, timelines, and success metrics
  • Design and implement scalable operating models, reporting frameworks, and cross-functional workflows
  • Build and manage tables, dashboards, and templates to track performance and support decision-making
  • Partner with marketing leadership on budgeting, headcount planning, and operational roadmaps
  • Proactively identify gaps in process, documentation, or accountability-and offer solutions
  • Help define and track team OKRs, KPIs, and marketing success metrics
  • Support talent planning, team structure, and resourcing strategies

Qualifications
  • Must reside in New York City, Los Angeles, or the Bay Area
  • Bachelor's or master's degree
  • Experience in marketing operations and strategic planning in a consulting or agency setting
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills with a strong sense of visual storytelling
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects and timelines
  • Analytical and systems-minded, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and driving improvements
  • Fluent in building tables, slide decks, and tools that streamline work and clarify strategy
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously while driving alignment across teams
