As an FP&A Analyst, you'll play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of our organization. Reporting to the SVP, Finance, you will be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting that drives key business decisions. You'll collaborate closely with General Managers (GMs) and senior leadership, providing financial insights that optimize performance, improve efficiency, and fuel growth.
As the FP&A Analyst, you'll own financial models, create dashboards, and track KPIs-helping leadership understand financial performance and make data-driven decisions. Compensation:
Guardian is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the OTE pay range is $ 100,000 - $110,000. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
Location: This role is a hybrid role - requiring 2-3 days/week in the downtown Denver office (parking provided).

Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting, Forecasting & Variance Analysis:
- Assist in the development of the company's annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Support the quarterly financial forecasting process by analyzing trends, identifying risks/opportunities, and updating financial models.
- Perform variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against forecasts and budgets, highlighting key drivers of variances.
- Work cross-functionally to improve forecast accuracy by gathering and interpreting financial and operational data.
Monthly Partner Performance Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
- Consolidate financial data and provide insights on revenue, expenses, and key financial metrics.
- Support GMs in understanding financial results, cost structures, and profitability drivers.
Preparation of Reports & Presentations (including Board Materials for ELT):
- Assist in the creation of board materials, executive summaries, and financial presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Work with cross-functional teams to compile key performance data and strategic financial reports.
Financial Modeling & Analysis for Strategic Business Decisions:
- Partner with business leaders to define, track, and report on key financial and operational KPIs.
- Provide ad hoc financial support to business leaders to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
- Design and maintain financial dashboards that provide real-time visibility into business performance.
- Continuously improve reporting processes and automation efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Skills that will make you successful in this role:
- Experience in a services industry is helpful but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for business leaders.
