Transportation Engineer Roadway Designer - Southeast Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 25-01166

Salary Range: $100K - $130K+ Permanent Position with Benefits.

Southeast Cleveland, Ohio company is seeking to hire an experienced professional Civil Engineer to design roads.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering ( BSCE, B.C.E., B.S.E.Civ, or B.S.E.CivE )
• Ohio Professional Engineering License, other states' P.E. will be considered with applicable experience
• Proficiency in OpenRoads software design / computer modeling (AutoCAD Civil 3d is a plus) to prepare and complete transportation roadway engineering designs to determine design accuracy
• Provide roadway design details, design calculations, technical reports, plans, and drawings
• 8+ years' experience with roadway design projects for the Ohio Department of Transportation with in-depth understanding of ODOT roadway design standards
• ODOT (Ohio Department of Transportation) strongly preferred, other state DOT (Department of Transportation) roadway design and roadway project management experience will be considered
• Work with senior level and mentor junior level engineers to manage roadway project designs, coordinate, and communicate schedule and progress on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Perform traffic analysis and studies (designing traffic signal and control plans a plus)
• Write technical memos and reports and creates presentations of findings
• Must be available to start in under 4 weeks from notice
