Position Overview
TruGreen is looking for an innovative Senior Events & Communications Specialist to oversee and manage all aspects of the company's events and communications strategies both internally and externally. This individual will oversee the execution of events and communication initiatives for the organization, including the Leadership Summit and President Circle Events. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a creative approach to event and communication management, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.

Pay Ranges
$65,979.00 - $109,965.00
This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.

Position Overview
TruGreen is looking for an innovative Senior Events & Communications Specialist to oversee and manage all aspects of the company's events and communications strategies both internally and externally. This individual will oversee the execution of events and communication initiatives for the organization, including the Leadership Summit and President Circle Events. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a creative approach to event and communication management, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Event Management:
- Lead the planning and execution of onsite events at the Nashville and Memphis Support Centers, ensuring seamless logistics and flawless delivery.
- Oversee all event details including venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, signage, transportation, and guest services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure events align with organizational goals and objectives.
Leadership Summit and President Circle Event(s) Lead:
- Work with the Internal Communications team to develop, plan, and execute the company's annual Leadership Summit with 1,200 participants.
- Manage all aspects of the Leadership Summit, including general sessions, regional and franchise breakout sessions, speaker coordination, session scheduling, and participant engagement.
- Manage travel and communication to all attendees (with help from various internal stakeholders).
- Ensure the successful execution of the event through meticulous attention to detail, including managing timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Responsible for post-event surveys and management.
Communications to Nashville and Memphis Associates:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all communications to associates at the Nashville and Memphis Support Centers.
- Develop and deliver internal messaging, ensuring consistent and clear communication to all associates.
- Partner with leadership to ensure timely updates and important company information is effectively communicated to all employees.
Digital Board Content Ownership:
- Manage the creation, coordination, and updates of all digital board content for both the Nashville and Memphis Support Centers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging aligns with company initiatives and is visually engaging for employees and visitors.
- Monitor and update digital board content regularly to maintain relevance and ensure timely communication.
Company Store/Vendor Management
- Oversight of the TruGreen Company store, including vendor contract, website design and item selection.
- Work with Sales, Operations and Marketing to ensure updates and refresh of items.
Video Shoots and Production Coordination:
- Take ownership of arranging all video shoots with internal stakeholders, coordinating with our production company for video production and editing.
- Develop and execute video production schedules, ensuring that shoots are aligned with event timelines, messaging, and branding.
- Review final video content to ensure it meets the company's quality standards and communication objectives.
Visitor Relations & Building Facilities Partnership:
- Partner with building facilities to ensure visitors to the Nashville and Memphis Support Centers are welcomed and guided appropriately.
- Coordinate visitor scheduling, welcome messaging, and tours as necessary to ensure a positive experience.
- Ensure that all visitor-related signage, instructions, and materials are clear, professional, and on-brand.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Event Management, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning, communications, or a similar role, with a focus on large-scale corporate events or internal communications.
- Proven experience in coordinating multi-day events, especially leadership summits or similar large conferences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, event management software, and video production tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership, internal teams, and external partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Ability to travel to both the Nashville and Memphis Support Centers as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience working with 1,000+ participants at large corporate events.
- Knowledge of virtual event platforms and hybrid event management.
- Experience in video production or project management related to video shoots.
- Certification in event planning or project management (e.g., CMP, PMP).
