PAY RANGE: $111,800.00 - $130,000.00 ANNUALLY

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Sr Analyst - Credit Risk & Campaign Analytics will be responsible for ensuring the execution of consumer product marketing campaigns. The analyst will work with internal stakeholders from Product, Analytics, Marketing, Information Technology, Finance and Business Intelligence as well as external vendors to ensure campaign specifications are correctly implemented, data is audited throughout the campaign, hand-offs are executed correctly, and campaign timelines are adhered to. This position requires superb communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, technical analytical data expertise, familiarity with marketing integrated marketing campaign design and performance analysis and cross-discipline collaboration. The individual in this role will take charge of designing and managing internal workflows and processes, enabling our team to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Other responsibilities include create data-driven insights to shape campaign targeting as well as design and monitor campaign measurement solutions. As part of the Product Analytics & Risk team, this individual will also be asked to contribute to various product growth and risk initiatives along the entire product lifecycle and outside of marketing campaigns as well.

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:
  • Work with relevant partners to intake segmentation and targeting related business requirements and develop executable solutions that apply complex inclusion/exclusion criteria to originate marketing solicitations to customers and prospects
  • Manage relationships and hand-offs with external vendors and internal stakeholders in Product, Analytics, Marketing, Information Technology, Finance and Business Intelligence to ensure error-free execution of campaigns
  • Analyze, audit, and review campaign setups, requirements and maintain supporting criteria, selection, and audit documentation
  • Develop, maintain and automate complex SAS and SQL logic for the purpose of campaign execution
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation within campaigns, the prospect database and related data transfer processes
  • Build and maintain direct mail and email campaigns within campaign selection tools
  • Design, analyze, and operationalize KPIs that link the performance of campaigns to business goals to improve decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control
  • Develop, document and maintain operational policies and procedures, including the designing and documenting detailed technical process flows, and the development of operational performance and quality metric standards and reports
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support development and implementation of key risk or growth strategies for lending and/or deposit products

  • Effective oral and written communication skills required to assist other staff, share reports, coach staff, communicate clearly with management and stakeholders, and perform other related tasks
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required to interact or complete technical analysis with Credit Union staff, management, or vendor partners
  • Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an on-line computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as financial calculators, personal computer, printer, facsimile machine, and telephone

  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • EDUCATION:
      • Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty (Marketing, Information Technology, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or similarly quantitative/analytically focused area)
      • Equivalent work experience with required knowledge/skills may be substituted for degree
  • EXPERIENCE:
      • 8+ years of analytical and data management experience
      • 8+ years of e-mail and/or direct mail-based marketing campaign execution


  • KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
    • Technical Skills
      • Required - Expert knowledge in the following systems/applications:
        • Expertise in data extraction, manipulation and analysis in SAS, SQL, python, etc.
        • Microsoft Excel - Formulas, functions, pivot tables, data connections and automation with macros
        • Experience with e-mail and/or direct mail-based touch points
      • Preferred knowledge in the following systems/applications:
        • Campaign selection tools (Unica, MicroNotes, etc.)
        • Data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
  • Corrected vision within the normal range.

  • Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
  • Extensive travel by car or public conveyance for out-of-area locations or across the United States.
