Description:

Are you a dynamic HR professional with solid manufacturing industry experience? A leading global Tier 1 & 2 automotive supplier of polyurethane foam materials is seeking an experienced Plant HR Manager to lead HR initiatives at their Greensboro, NC plant.

This role offers the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the plant's HR strategy while managing key operational HR functions. As the Plant HR Manager, you will lead a dedicated HR team with two direct reports, contributing to a high-performing manufacturing environment with opportunities to influence plant-wide success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategy: Serve as a key member of the Plant Management Team, providing HR expertise to support business goals, drive employee engagement, and advise the Plant Manager on HR-related matters.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment through proactive employee relations, fair employment practices, and engagement activities.
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E): Champion HS&E initiatives, ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards, and promote a culture of workplace safety.
  • Talent Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and talent development efforts to build a strong workforce pipeline.
  • Training & Development: Design and implement training programs aligned with ISO 9001 standards and corporate requirements.
  • Total Rewards & Compliance: Manage compensation, benefits, and HRIS systems to support competitive and compliant HR practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree; Professional Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and labor relations.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
  • Experience with payroll, HRIS systems, and global matrix organizations is an asset.


Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000 base + solid bonus, benefits and relocation package.
