About The Role:
  • As a CBRE Valuation Funds Sr Consultant you will prepare market value appraisals on simple real estate assets with considerable supervision and oversight, training and mentoring by supervisory Manager.
  • Assists in the preparation of real estate appraisal reports, including entering data in the property database, cash flow modeling in AE. Confirms data, conducts discussions with market participants, and performs additional research as necessary. Guides analysts on daily work flow and data management.

What You'll Do:
  • Oversees Analysts on daily workflow and data management.
  • Builds and updates Argus models for all property types with mentorship from senior team members.
  • Prepares written market value reports from cover to cover with substantial analytical mentorship of a senior team member.
  • Prepares and completes analysis and research on simple appraisal assignments.
  • Analyzes of past revenue and expense performance and attempts to project a stabilized operating statement.
  • Researches market area and analyzes current transactions and how they compare to the subject property.
  • Examines and analyzes simple income producing properties and writes an analysis based on market comparisons.
  • Attempts to make a comparison analysis based on sales of similar properties.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Bachelors Degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university required. Master's degree (MA, MS or MBA) preferred. A minimum of (4) years commercial appraisal experience. Institutional experience is a plus.
  • CG Required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
  • Requires average knowledge of financial real estate terms and principles. Basic understanding of approaches to value of real estate assets.
  • Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to tackle problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Must be proficient in Argus, MS Word and MS Excel. Excellent writing skills.
  • Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the VAS - Sr. Funds Consultant is $125,000.00 annually [or $60.10 per hour] and the maximum salary for the VAS - Sr. Funds Consultant position is $150,000.00 annually [or $72.12 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
