Systems Integration Engineer - Full-Time
Location: Schriever SFB
Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 w/ full benefits package

- The System Integration Engineer requires at least Administrator-level knowledge, but does not conduct normal Administrator job functions
- Integrate software into the test suites at the MDIOC, primarily Virtual servers; develop site and event specific configurations to support System Test events
- Operate and troubleshoot systems during test events and integration activities
- Work with external personnel to resolve test lab issues; work with program Operations and Sustainment as well as Level-II support personnel to resolve installation and processing issues
- Create and modify scripts to extract specific information from log files; perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data; troubleshoot both test and operational issues; document test results and prepare test status documentation
- Read test plan documents and procedures; create Test Discrepancy Reports to document issues
- Assist software development personnel with the investigation and resolution of issues; develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents; develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures to test program in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities
- Participate in integration program tests with external elements and sensors; review and provide feedback of system specifications, development, test, network documents as necessary
- Attend meetings with other program FAs, customers, etc.
Position is based in Colorado Springs at the MDIOC but sometimes multi-week travel to customer sites (e.g., EUCOM, CENTCOM) and contractor sites (e.g., Huntsville, HWY83) may be required. Ability to travel is a requirement.

Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible Systems and/or Administration roles
- A technical Master's degree and 3 years of experience may be substituted
- Secret Clearance Required to start
- Bachelor's Degree minimum in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical discipline
- Active IAT-Level 2 required (60 days after start may be considered)
Technical Skills Required
- Experienced in Administration in at least one of these three domains: Networking, Linux, and/or Windows
- The desire to conduct complex troubleshooting by analyzing proprietary application logs, firewall policies, and interface documentation
- Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks is a plus
- Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications program is a plus
- Experience with Agile Methods, and Capability and Feature definition is a plus
