About the Team
The Accelerate Platform team is dedicated to accelerating the development of generative AI-powered features across Workday. We streamline and unify the GenAI experience, and insulate application teams across Workday from the complexities of AI lifecycle management.

We strive to reduce the time to market for GenAI features from concept to production and ensure clear and consistent interactions. About the Role

As a Product Manager for the Accelerate Platform, you will play a crucial role in supporting the product vision and execution for our GenAI developer tools and services. You will contribute to the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and driving their development. This role involves a strong emphasis on collaboration with product, engineering, design, and partner teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of Workday developers and end users alike. The ideal candidate is an experienced product manager with a passion for AI technologies and a desire to grow their expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the definition and communication of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Accelerate Platform, working in close collaboration with product and software engineering leadership.
  • Assist in translating product strategy into clear technical requirements and user stories, fostering collaboration and shared understanding between product and engineering teams.
  • Work very closely with software engineering to define, prioritize, and execute on the product backlog, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with product goals.
  • Contribute to the analysis of customer, user, and platform performance, providing data and insights to inform product and engineering decisions.
  • Help establish and track key platform metrics to measure results and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with engineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and UX, to gather requirements, address dependencies, and ensure successful platform delivery.
  • Conduct product discovery activities, including research, competitive analysis of tools, and data analysis, to inform platform development.
  • Document product requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to guide software engineering efforts.
  • Communicate product and platform updates and progress to stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and the software engineering organization.


About You

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5 + years of product management experience in a SaaS company
  • 2 + years delivering ML/AI products or features


Other Qualifications:
  • Experience researching and prototyping new technical capabilities.
  • End to end implementation experience including issue management, communication and change management.
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to define the project scope, establish a timeline, coordinate resources, communicate status, and manage the delivery of results.
  • Strong presentation / communication skills addressing senior leaders / exec audiences.
  • Experience leading and building PMO's for large organizations with Program Managers who partner with our product teams and business partners to deliver against our strategic priorities.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $128,900 USD - $193,400 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $116,700 USD - $207,600 USD

If performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is $122,800 - $184,200 USD based on min and max pay range for that role if performed in CO.
